Assisted by friends and attacked by his enemies, he weaves a story of hope, tragedy, intrigue and triumph, with plenty of humour thrown in for good measure. The author, Martin Miles, is a retired self-employed commercial artist living in Great Grimsby. Having studied with The Academy of Children's Writers, he loves the whole experience of creating interesting and exciting characters and plots for boys and girls of all ages.
