If a man is having trouble with his erection, tadalafil may be the answer (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). Together, tadalafil and sexual stimulation boost blood flow to the penis, making it easier for men to get and maintain an erection. In addition to its usage for erectile dysfunction, tadalafil is prescribed for the treatment of symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). Helps reduce the frequency of urination, urgency, and inability to hold one's bladder that might accompany benign prostatic hyperplasia (including during the middle of the night). It is believed that tadalafil works by reducing tension in the smooth muscle lining the prostate and the bladder. This medication does not prevent the spread of STDs (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis).
