Der Autor der Art und des Genus hat beide zuerst (1849) nach jungeren Gehusen aufgestellt; spter aber 1853 die Beschreibungen berichtigt und ergnzt. Bourguignat beschreibt spater zwei neue Arten des Genus aus Cuba, die ich nicht zur Ansicht erhalten konnte und die ich daher nur nach Copien mitzutheilen im Stande bin.
