Pavement materials, a critical part of transportation infrastructure, are subject to considerable traffic loads and extreme variations in weather and climate. With the rapid growth in infrastructural needs, many existing pavements require prompt maintenance or reconstruction. Aimed at sustainability, innovative recycling techniques to produce the pavement materials to be used in construction have been receiving considerable attention.
