Before Laura did that, she called her boyfriend, Lyle. Then, she texted each of her children and told them she needed to talk to them at home. All she could think about was what she was going to say, and how she was going to say it. How could she share this news without it crushing their spirits?

Laura L. Torres reveals how her faith helped her navigate challenges and obstacles after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She currently resides in Wisconsin with her very large and loving family. Laura continues to be active with local outreach programs through her church and in her community.
