August Visit. Godstone and Oxted, conducted by Miss K. M. Kenyon, Secretary and Acting Director, Institute of Archeology. In the morning a Bronze Age barrow, ancient earth works and Godstone Church were visited. In the afternoon Barrow Green Court, Oxted, by kind permission of our members, Captain and Mrs. Hoskins Master, was visited, and afterwards the parish church. The archeological features of all the buildings were described by Mr. C. D. Hawley. Eighty-one applied for tickets.
