Originally published in 1963, this obscure and poorly translated book was developed by a small Japanese toy company in an attempt to make a foothold in the American marketplace. In the early 60s, Japanese toys were all the rage in America - particularly the West Coast, and the Super Fun Good Time! Toy Co. took advantage of that.With the space race in full swing, Super Fun Good Time! Toy Co. introduced themselves to the American marketplace with the introduction of their Super Fun Good Time! Space Station Play Set. As part of a promotion, this 17 page coloring book was also produced and distributed throughout the West coast.The Super Fun Good Time! Space Station Play Set included a 14 inch space station, Mr. and Mrs. Scientist, and three space ships of various length and width. Unfortunately, this set was not a success and the Super Fun Good Time! Toy Co. went out of business shortly after.Unfortunately, all copies of this book had been lost or destroyed. That is until late 2020, when a tattered copy was found in a storage unit owned by a third generation toy store owner and offered at an estate sale. Lucky for you, our talented team of Vintage Book Scouts found this long-lost book and immediatley sent it directly to our Vintage Book Restoration Team, who were able to successfully extract the images needed to reconstruct this book.Now in 2021, this book has been republished in all its original glory!
