Publisher's Synopsis
As the congregational musical involvement in the Sunday parish Eucharist has increased, choirs have found that some of the repertoire that they traditionally have sung is now unison and sung by everyone. Choirs are often now restricted to singing a reflective anthem at communion, usually whilst the congregation is filing past. This new book will provide choirs with a collection of short pieces that can be inserted at various places during the Sunday Eucharist. The attached CD includes performances of many of the pieces in the book sung by Sarum Voices, Directed by Benjamin Lamb.
