Sun: Mankind's Future Source of Energy, Volume One contains the proceedings of the International Solar Energy Society Congress held in New Delhi, India in January 1978. The papers review the significant advances that have been made with regards to solar energy as a resource for the future, along with the scientific and technological problems associated with its optimal use for various applications. The social and economic issues concerning solar technology are also discussed.
