Publisher's Synopsis
Now someone wants Ryan for a supposed ransom! Ryan's second summer on Europa was supposed to be much easier. This is a confusing nightmare! The camp, run by aliens, was expanded and their protective military presence increased to prevent an invasion as happened last year. However, some very strange things are happening, and this is a place where strange is just normal.
Ryan, a present-day High School student, is now very comfortable with the aliens who run the camp, but the cute alien that he would like to get more comfortable with, Taanna, is too busy for him. Hopefully, it is just her parents who make sure she is too busy for him.
Now he is forced to think about other things. Even before he can even leave Earth, he is attacked. Once at the camp he should be safe, but the camp was expanded in a very big hurry last year. There are many new people and new robots at the camp this year, and some of them are questionable.
When even his friends are threatened, it becomes time for him to visit the pirates on their own ground. Even if he lives, which looks doubtful, will he be able to find his way home?
