You are the next in line as a keeper of the ruins of Val'Kadoth, and, as such, must unravel the mystery of the ruins when your aunt is captured by a strange group of bandits seeking a hidden power contained therein. Guide your hero through a perilous adventure by making quick and clever decisions, solving difficult puzzles, avoiding devious traps, and looting treasure as you solve the mysteries of your past by learning the truth behind the strange voice emanating from deep within Val'Kadoth. But you won't need to make those decisions alone. Recruit party members along your journey to serve as important sources of aid in battle. With the addition of the party banter system, they may even provide hints that will serve you well on your journey. Or, they may engage in fun dialogue scenarios that will capture the feeling of recruiting a band of intrepid adventurers, who each exhibit their own unique goals and motivations. Inspired by gamebooks such as the popular "Fighting Fantasy" or "Lone Wolf" series and TTRPGs (tabletop role-playing games) such as "Dungeons and Dragons", you will engage in gameplay scenarios with only two six-sided dice and a pencil at hand. Build your hero with a bevy of stat rolls, items, and equipment, and take control of your hero's destiny with each choice you make and battle you survive. In the Stygian World of Yeolas, you will need to use all your wits and cunning to survive. May the dice be ever in your favor in this tale of "Stygian Swordscapes"!
