The project was co-ordinated by the European Institute of Education and Social Policy in Paris and was carried out by an international research team.;The study, launched in the mid-1980s, provides a comprehensive international analysis of study abroad programmes in terms of geographical coverage, the number of institutions and programmes analyzed and the numbers of students and graduates involved.
