Excerpt from Studies of Calibration Standards Used in the Department of Defense Equipment Oil Analysis Program
At the request of the Naval System Air Command, Department of the Navy, studies have been conducted on organo-metallic calibration standards and diluent oil used in the Depart ment of Defense Equipment Oil Analysis Program. Consultation on standards has been provided, and measurements of physical properties of base oil, concentrations of major elements in standards, concentrations of trace contaminants, and stability of solutions have been performed. Results of studies accomplished in fiscal year 1972 are detailed in this report.
