The treatment of sterility, however, is chiefly the treatment of the infantile uterus and vagina. The vagina should be tested by injecting a colored gelatinous ?uid to see whether it is retained. And, if it is expelled, the vagina may be dilated by a pessary while other procedures are being done to the uterus.
