Publisher's Synopsis
This is the third atlas for schools based on the "Bateman New Zealand Historical Atlas". It traces the history of New Zealand from World War II through to the last decade of the 20th Century. While each of the three atlases stands alone, making appropriate links between them should help students explore the concept of cause and effect. The plates in the atlases are self contained but can also be starting points for wider research. A teacher's workbook (isbn: 1869535332) has been prepared to support use of the atlas in the classroom. This workbook is designed to support the busy classroom teacher with activities and ideas, but in no way represents the full extent of what teachers can achieve with this atlas.
