Brickwork has long been regarded as an attractive cladding material and blockwork is increasing in its appeal. Both are durable materials with good thermal and acoustic insulation and fire resistance. What′s more, both are economical structural materials that can often be used to build faster and more cheaply and more easily than steel or concrete frameworks.
