Anise Viston finds herself kidnapped by escaped convict Grace Brevain who is about to finally find the ancient Mesopotamian artifact that can give life back to the dead - the Tablet of Destinies. Anise's boyfriend Nate Brevain and ex-boyfriend Jonathan Casley rush to protect her from Grace. Meanwhile, Jonathan's mentor, Dr. Morty Smithton, is being coerced by his former professor Dr. Frederick Dromly in a murderous plan to stop Anise and Grace from reaching the Tablet first. Unlikely alliances are formed as they search the Valley of the Kings in Egypt for clues as to the location of the Tablet of Destinies. Their journey takes them on a race through the Egyptian Realm of the Dead where Anise must lead the charge to defeat her enemies, fully adopt her new leadership role as the last Mesopotamian royal, and decide what to do when she discovers that the power of destiny is completely in her hands.
