Double bill of Mandarin dramas directed and co-written by Ming-liang Tsai. 'Stray Dogs' (2013), set in Taipei, follows an alcoholic father (Kang-sheng Lee) who, along with his two children (Yi Chieh Lee and Yi Cheng Lee), is struggling to get by after moving to the city. With the assistance of a grocery store worker the family might just have a chance at a better life. 'Journey To the West' (2014), follows a monk (also Kang-sheng Lee)'s contemplative journey through Marseille where he is joined and imitated by one of the city's natives (Denis Lavant).
