Publisher's Synopsis
This is the first volume of a series of contemporary photography edited by NEAR, the Swiss Association for contemporary photography. The series aims to introduce and spread the work of talented Swiss contemporary artists or artists who live and work in Switzerland, to a broad public. The photographic work of Brigitte Lustenberger finds its inspiration in contemporary photography but also strongly refers to painting, film and television. The depth of her images invites the viewer to reflect on art and life.
