Publisher's Synopsis
I find it encouraging to look back at the trials and tribulations I have been through and seen that I walked through the fire and don't even smell like smoke. All by the plans and grace of my Heavenly Father. And I remember in the beginning when after realizing that I can't live sinless in this world I wanted to end my life. I took an overdose of some pretty serious drugs. When I couldn't swallow another...I felt His presence beside me and I spoke to Him "You're not going to take me are you." And I heard Him say "No, I have much to do with you yet."
That was in 1980. And I know that the rough times are times He proves His faithfulness. And I have so many of those to look back on. Now, the last one was when I was told I had a brain aneurysm and it didn't faze me. Why? Because I knew I wouldn't die. WHY? Because He let the Dr. find it when they were not even looking for that. So, take heart my friend, it's just another stepping stone across the river of Faith.
