Publisher's Synopsis
Status is not simply a measure of rank. It is the fulfilment of natural potential to the extent that a person's achievements and personal power are recognized and valued by others. The author's belief is that everybody can develop his or her personal power and acquire increased status. She offers a definition of status and explores how people with status "operate" and build their careers. Using case histories and role models, she gives guidelines on how self-assurance and "high-status" behaviour can be developed.
