Considerable progress has benn made in the application of growth hormone (GH) treatment in GH-defeicient patients of all ages, as well as in children with other forms of short stature. Logitudinal data on GH therapy in several thousand patients continues to be documented within the framework of KIGS (Pharmacia & Upjohn International Growth Database) and KIMS (Pharmacia & Upjohn International Metabolic Database).
