Publisher's Synopsis
"The Materials Book" contains more than 400 materials specifications and test methods commonly used in the construction of highway facilities. The specifications have been developed and maintained by states' highway and transportation departments through their participation in AASHTO's Subcommittee on Materials. Also included are ASTM specifications pertinent to the transportation industry that have been approved and acepted by the member states. More than 400 specifications in 3,600 pages. It is organized into two parts, Materials and Testing. Each part is comprised of two volumes each to make the book more manageable.
