Publisher's Synopsis
After a long nap, Aries the Ram awakes in springtime, bringing along his satchel of secrets. He urges warmer winds to blow, and whispers magic words to the sleeping seeds and bulbs under the hard, frozen ground. When the various fauna and flora of the earth hear his voice, they respond with joy, bringing forth colorful flowers, eggs, and cocoons. The tall grasses in the fields change from dull gray to vivid greens. Migratory birds begin to sing in our yards and parks, and butterflies bounce among the pastel blooms. Suddenly, there are ducklings on the ponds and baby lambs in the fields.
