This book covers all aspects of the causes and management of spontaneous abortions during the first and second trimesters of pregnancy. Approximately 10% of all couples suffer the physical and psychological trauma of two or more spontaneous abortions, yet it is an area of obstetrics much neglected and often ill understood and mishandled by clinicians. The authors intend this book for obstetricians and gynaecologists, with the aim of increasing their knowledge and understanding and thus managing their patients more effectively.
