Excerpt from Special Report on the Foreign-Born Population: Abstracted From the Records of the Fifth Census of Canada, June, 1911
Of the total foreign - born with years of immigration reported 29-3 per cent came to Canada in the years 1909 - June, 1911, while the foreign-born arrivals of the five years 1906-1911 made up more than 52 per cent of the total foreign - born living in Canada at the date of the Fifth Census. Of the foreign-born whose vear of immigration was not reported 51 -56 per cent were naturalized.
