Publisher's Synopsis
In an alternate universe where the twentieth century gave rise to individuals with psychic talents, the Great War ended far differently, and the flow of history led the United States and her allies into a losing war with China by the middle of the twenty-first century. Chief Lucius Tagget turned the tide of the war by unleashing a powerful and previously unknown weapon of the mind. But instead of pushing the Chinese navy back, it only made their efforts to win more vicious and underhanded. Now, as resources dwindle, the United States take their last two boats out of mothballs and the allies take a desperate shot at the Chinese. But everything is not as it seems as the internal machinations of the military threaten to risk the victory in favor of letting old prejudices and political grudges hold sway.
