Whether you're from the Deep South or the coastal areas, you'll find yourself nodding and saying, Oh, yes. That's the way it was when I was growing up in the South. It also reflects on what has made the South different in many ways to other areas of the country, and bemoans the fact that the South, as is every area of the country, is becoming homogenized.
