Publisher's Synopsis
Southern Roots: History of the Coody and Thomas Families, covers the first six generations from the present to approximately 1794. It is an in-depth research of my Coody and Thomas ancestors that includes photographs, biographies, stories, and information that clearly defines my Coody and Thomas history. Our family is as diverse as it is large. My whole purpose is to tell the story of my ancestors, their triumphs, failures, their love of country, and their love for God. There are those who made major impacts and contributions to our nation's history and then there are those who quietly gave their all, and those that screamed their allegiance to their country and God.
