English summary: The fourteenth volume in the series "Archeological Reports from Yemen" presents papers from the 14th Rencontres Sabeennes conference which was held in Berlin in 2010. This international symposium offered papers concerning the archeology, epigraphy, and history of the Arabian Peninsula, especially southern Arabia, and took place under the theme "South Arabia and its Neighbors: Phenomena of Intercultural Contacts." Current research about the diverse and geographically broad connections between southern Arabia and its neighboring regions are presented in this publication. German description: Der 14.
