This CD series has been produced to provide music for the intentional design of environments in which we live, work, and heal. Each CD has been programmed to match the activities and moods of the various spaces. In the same way that we as people are dynamic and changeable, so must the sound environment reflect the places in which we find ourselves. Therefore, the music should be used with both flexibility and sensitivity.
Our home settings are places where we both renew ourselves and have our closest relationships. The environment for reading, dining, talking, and resting needs to offer a sense of regeneration and renewal. Therefore, the music on this CD provides a range of pieces that are lyrical, rhythmic, and joyful. The volume level will affect how the music sounds to the listener, whether used as foreground or background...feel free to change the dynamic as the occasion demands.
