After searching for twenty years, Sajiix Mirhan believes he has finally discovered the location of the fabled Val'Cryys Amethyst. Hidden somewhere within the depths of the Deadmurk swamplands, Sajiix must face the elements and the creatures that lurk within to obtain the glory he has fought so hard to reach. His former companions, the Guildsmen, are unable to help him in this endeavor, as they are once again challenged by the political machinations of Chancellor Tevic and his desire to bring together the seven houses of the gods - an act that will surely test the patience of the Magi and the treaty forged so long ago. Unbeknownst to either the Guildsmen or Sajiix, a new power is searching for the Val'Cryys Gemstones; one that cares nothing for the orders of magic or houses of faith. The Bringers of Val'Cryys wish to find the Shadowgem and will use its song to awaken a threat not seen in the realms for ten years...
