I will lay forth a very freeing concept that was revealed to me after years of frustration and time wasting sincerely trying to seek God's plan for my life. I hope to present the sole authority that directs the Christian life, that being the Word of God; but also that the same Word of God must not only be Logos in our lives but a Rhema word in our life. Peter was told to step out of the boat and walk on water, which is a Logos, or general word. This does not mean that we are all too routinely request a water-walking adventure. We know that if it served God's purpose we could do it again today, but for most of us, it should not be a frustrating request that we never see happened. However, if God gives us a Rhema word to walk, then we should embrace it. God has given every Christian a firm mandate that frees them to do their ministry. Let us discover that mandate together today.
