Publisher's Synopsis
This yearbook stands as a record of research conducted by and for the Department of Social Security. Short summaries of each project in progress during the year are included together with a list of all publications derived from the research programme over the preceding 10 years. The yearbook also includes chapters on five of the projects undertaken in 1992/93. They are intended to give a flavour of the work undertaken, to highlight important projects and to illustrate the variety of research carried out.
