Lancelot and his knights have a new challenge after a secret was uncovered in Norway that threatens to consume the city of Oslo. Story opening: Present day, London It was a cold, summers morning in the city of London. The gathering storm clouds high above the city overshadowed the fading light of the sun. Clear skies and warm sun had only been announced a short while ago by the local weather station, to the dismay of the many people living in the city. But as with anywhere in the British Isles, the weather is quick to change, a fact people like to complain about. The sky began to crackle and rumble with tremendous thunder, startling the birds gathered on the many roof tops and trees, followed by intense lightening flashes in the sky. While many chose to drive or chance a trip in a bus or train, others were forced to brave the London streets on foot, hoping to avoid the coming rain just waiting to fall. A man, tall and fair-haired in a long grey coat and fedora, walked alone with a long cane. Choosing to avoid the crowds of people hurrying up and down the street, he crossed between the traffic waiting to move. The drivers, so focused on the road and getting more and more frustrated by their lack of progress, did not notice him walk by. He made his way to the street corner where an old, white Victorian building stood surrounded by the growing field of high-rise structures, a glowing gas lamp still burning beside the thick oak door. It was among London's best-kept secrets, and known only to a few in the city, while others passed it by without ever realizing the building was there. The tavern front was decorated in black and white, its name stencilled in faded, gold letters above the door: 'The Winter Tavern'. He pushed open the door and stepped inside. A small bell above the door greeted him.
