"Sleepless Nights Scribbling" is a collection of essays and short stories. It tracks the evolution of a young writer as he battles depression, writer's block, the vicissitudes of the political and cultural climate in a country undergoing change and being a twenty-something in the 21st century. There are essays and stories here dealing with religion, sexuality, political unrest, days gone by, disillusionment, social taboos etc through the perspective of a small-town young man from Kerala, India.
