Publisher's Synopsis
With the world in disarray and vampires rising to power, children with supernatural abilities are being taken away from their families and forced to become slaves to these bloodsucking monsters.
At the young age of three, Aleksander Naumov found out he had the ability to transform into a black Norwegian Forest cat. Due to the world crumbling at the hands of the vampire race, Aleksander was forced to leave his mother and home in Bulgaria and move to a Slavery Institution in France. This helpless little kitten had endured several years of pain and abuse at the hands of the country's foulest vampires. Aleksander didn't think life could get any worse, but it turns out he was wrong. On a hot, sunny day in July, Aleksander is visited by an old friend who gives him the opportunity to turn his life around - by becoming a slave again. After five horrendous masters, Aleksander didn't think he'd be able to do it, especially now that he's battling a rare vampiric disease, but things change when he meets Tyler Carter, a charming and aggressive vampire with a mysterious past. Becoming Tyler's slave didn't seem all that bad in the beginning, but as the months pass by, Aleksander realises his feelings for Tyler aren't as innocent as he thought. Set in a futuristic dystopian France, Aleksander faces challenges that could ultimately change the way he saw life and possibly even change the way he saw himself.
