Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Sixth Annual Report of the Department of Game and Fish of Georgia: July 1st, 1916 to June 30th, 1917
Of our game birds the Bob White, Dove and Wild Turkey are the most important and abundant, in the order named, and I am glad to report that under the protection which the law has afforded, and through the activities and zeal of game wardens and interested citizens the first and last named are steadily increasing, while the dove is at least holding his own, but this bird, being in a sense migratory, we cannot give as full protection as is possible with the quail and turkey.
