Meet Simon Skunk; a young skunk who loves learning and playing with friends at Roaring River Elementary School. That is until his friends form an interest in hide and seek. Simon always gets found first! But, his friends continue to play every recess. Now what will Simon do?
Simon's story is a great way to introduce children to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a therapeutic approach used to help people identify and change negative thought patterns called cognitive distortions. Follow Simon's classmates; Finley Fish, Evan Ermine, Robert Raccoon, Ophelia Owl, and Tómas Turtle as they too learn how their thoughts, feelings, and behavior are all connected and learn to maneuver different cognitive distortions.
