"Silver Burdett Music" is a programme which has been designed to meet the changing needs of teachers and children, and to meet the requirements of the National Curriculum at Key Stages 1-3. The set of resources includes teacher's editions, pupil's books, cassettes, a scope and sequence chart, and teacher's resource books. Ideas, resources and suggestions for lesson plans are provided for all teachers regardless of their own music experience or training. It is not necessary for the teacher using the programme to be able to read music or play accompaniments, since these are provided on the cassettes.;This photocopiable book provides additional resource material to accompany the books and cassettes which cover Key Stage 2, Years 3-4. It contains a cross-curricular topic index, advice about classroom instruments, chapters on special needs, and worksheets.
