Please come with me during this period of time when Christ was born. I have written this book to show Joseph and Mary as the parents of the Son of God. Many of us have read the story of the Nativity which is a heartfelt story of a mom and dad who were trying to do their best.All of our lives we have heard of the world they lived in as being turned upside down by so much meanness and cruelty. The pictures of being pious and with halo's around their faces just did not strike me as the type of personalities that Mary and Joseph were. They were human beings that were pulled into a world that had to be reasoned with by obedience. Picture in your mind an Angel who has been tasked to stay close by to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. This is a story of lightheartedness situations of adults who are trying to protect the child Jesus from attracting too much attention to himself. Christmas, God bought his Son into the world to see man through the eyes of a child. Jesus had to learn about the kingdom of men. Joseph was stuck in the middle of morals and customs of the human world as well as being pulled into the world of God and his Angels. I see Joseph as a laid back kind of guy who was trying to keep his sanity as he accepted his tasks from Gabriel. So, travel with me and imagine the trials of Joseph's life while he was protecting Jesus and Mary.
