This is the first stage in a two-part Spanish course, endorsed by OCR for use with the OCR AS/A level Spanish specifications.
It takes the reader from GCSE to AS Level and is also suitable for Higher Spanish. It is followed by Sigue! 2 segunda edicion which provides the full A Level course. It features short, manageable texts and progression from a realistic starting point.
This edition includes a new study skills unit; five new units on popular themes:
* Expresate, giving practical pointers and support to develop all-round skills;
* Informate, giving factual background information on aspects of Spanish and Latin-American life and culture;
* Como se dice?, giving practical guidance on pronunciation and intonation;
* increased emphasis on systematic grammar practice via Consolidacion exercises; and
