I ENJOY KILLING VERY MUCH. It is pretty much what I enjoy the most, apart from being famous. But I don't do it just for the pleasure of it-my exclusives on crime have become the star collaborator of the most-watched show on television. The police kind of hates that I know more than them about unresolved cases, but that's the way it is. Everyone in Spain knows me.
My happy life changed one night, at the bar where the shadiest deals are closed in Madrid. Yeah, the one you are thinking of, that bar. It was there that my best friend (or my only friend, if I'm being entirely honest)-a sports journalist that has managed to mingle wonderfully with the upper crust-asked for something I couldn't refuse... at least if I want to stay alive.
The satisfaction when you finish a really good movie. The taste of a surprising wine. Your first line. The pleasure of an orgasm. Or an important goal if soccer is more your thing than shagging. Mix it all. Speed it up. Amplify it.
