Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Shrub Plantings for Erosion Control in Eastern Washington: Progress and Research Needs; Pnw-279; October 1976
Survival rate of bitterbrush, squaw carpet ceanothus, and snowbrush ceanothus was reduced on cut slopes because plants were covered by ravelling soil material.
