Publisher's Synopsis
Shrinking and expanding: An autobiography of one woman's journey through Anorexia. Language: English. Self-published and includes possible grammar errors or typos. Warning: Contains swear words here and there, references to sexual language, Eating Disorder descriptions, suicidal thoughts (which were journaled and not acted upon) and some mentions of drugs and alcohol. This autobiography is dedicated to my parents, siblings, family, friends, coworkers and my amazing teachers, lecturers or professors whom I have spoken to over time and whom have encouraged me to be myself and to try to be happy. I miss people all the time when they go to other places, or venture forth in another direction in their lives. Also, I am bearing in mind the many deceased people who have crossed paths with me throughout life, whom I never had the chance to say goodbye to- family or friends who may have died naturally or due to Cancer, Suicide, Eating Disorders or other sad circumstances. People do care. Life is not always as bad as we make things out to be in our minds. Writing, art, music, languages- these things make me happier than counting calories, weight and exercise.
