The short stories you are about to read are a small sampling taken from an accumulation of more than forty years of authorship. Late at night, author Gerson Fabe retires to a little corner of his home and types into a laptop computer until the wee hours of the morning. "I usually have a line or two that intrigues me," he says. "From there, the words take over," he adds, "placing themselves on the computer screen and ultimately on the page." For the purposes of this book, each short story is identified by average reading time to correspond with "Trips of All Sizes" and range from 12 and 51 minutes. These particular stories were chosen for this first edition by a group of friends who urged Gerson to start publishing his work. He agreed, as long as they would help him by choosing their favorites. Gerson thinks they've chosen well and hopes you enjoy them too.
