Publisher's Synopsis
Viewers will work alongside mixed-media artist Kristen Robinson as she guides them through the step-by-step creation of this charming house collage. Beginning by layering fabrics and paper, Kristen then shows how to add selected text by embedding vintage paper and using gel medium transfers. Viewers will then learn a variety of hand and machine stitching to both secure fabric and paper ephemera, and to create visual focal points. Finish the collage by sewing fabric/paper stacks and adding delicate colored pencil drawing.
