In accordance with Section 24 of Article 77, of the Laws of Maryland, the seventy-first annual report, covering all Operations of the State Department of Education and the support, condition, progress, and needs of education throughout the State for the school year ending in June, 1937, and considerable data for the current school year 1937-38 is herewith presented to you.
