Publisher's Synopsis
The Sensus Spiritualis Commentary Series seeks to explore the Patristic method of exegesis, which often made use of the four senses of scripture. This commentary on 1 Samuel will particularly focus on the spiritual sense. Michael Lofton is a Latin Rite Catholic in the Diocese of Shreveport, Louisiana and is also a member of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter, in full communion with the Bishop of Rome. He is the Founding Publisher of Consolamini and is currently working on a Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Christendom Graduate School.
