In renewing the investigation there was therefore no expecta tion of determining a radiation constant, a; but it was purposed to determine a series of spectral energy curves as accurately as possible, and to determine, if possible, one or more temperature coefficients, which applied to the constants of the Wien equation would cause the theoretical curve to fit the observed energy curve at both low and high temperatures.
